Lisbon leads the Spanish markets for this year’s summer vacation

The search engine conducted the analysis for flights and hotels – Jetcost – which shows that Lisbon is in ninth place of Spanish preferences, as a European traveling destination for this summer.

Regarding international tourism, Europe remains at the top of the preferences. Jetcost's survey indicates that 83% of the Spanish inquiries are looking to enjoy a few days off, on summer vacation. 32% plan to travel for a maximum of five days, 27% for a week, and 25% traveling between eight and 15 days.

Jetcost's survey also states that sun and sand destinations are favorites, positioned as the preferred option by 61% of respondents. July (40%) has replaced August (35%) as the preferred month to go on vacation. Similarly, June has a growing following. 14% of applicants will travel in June, while only 10% prefer to wait until September. In terms of monetary costs, the average per person is €1,085.
