SUMMER CAMP a partnership with IAS: Surf, Soccer and Much More!

In collaboration with the investors of Mercan Properties, the first edition of the IAS Summer Camp has prepared an exciting and exclusive two-week program for families.

With the summer season in its full swing, the Summer Camps program has some of the most interesting courses for children and young people aged 7 to 16.

Two weeks full of energy and educational activities to practice the Portuguese language and put their knowledge into practice. Parents are also welcome!

Introducing surf week!

Matosinhos Beach is known for its clear waters and prestigious surf courses. The students enjoyed a perfect surf initiation plan with qualified surf coaches and renowned experts, who accompanied them on an exciting teaching journey.

Improving technical ability and coordination was one of the main objectives of this course, without ever forgetting the basic needs of surfing and the importance of maintaining etiquette at sea.

Soccer Week: Learning from the best!

Alongside FC Porto's renowned Dragon Force team, the soccer lessons helped the students to improve their individual physical condition and understand the importance and discipline of teamwork.

At the same time, the development of a "healthy competitiveness" mentality was also a major outcome throughout this week, in addition to understanding and developing new technical skills, defensive positions, and formations.

Learning Portuguese: having fun is rule number one

The best way to learn the Portuguese language and increase your confidence in the spoken word goes far beyond learning the basics.

While many families are in the process of obtaining Portuguese citizenship through investing in the Golden Visa program, passing the A2 level of the Portuguese language is required and necessary for starting a new life!

One of the main aims of this year's summer camp was to help families develop their general understanding and fluency in communicating in Portuguese. Having the opportunity to take part in a range of activities and have contact with native speakers, the students achieved excellent levels of vocabulary and spelling.

The summer camp also offered individual, assessed lessons with an official Portuguese teacher, tailored to their specific needs.

The IAS Summer Camp program runs from Monday to Friday until the end of this month and includes transportation, lunch for each day, and a professional team of certified instructors, teachers, and federated trainers during the course of the daily activities.
