The Easter Brunch at Four Points by Sheraton Matosinhos delivers a delightful culinary experience that blends traditional Portuguese flavors with a warm and family-friendly atmosphere.

Is there a better combination than brunch and Easter Sunday? Four Points by Sheraton Matosinhos invites you to find out. On April 20, come hungry and ready to enjoy a buffet that spans everything from classic Portuguese dishes and a traditional English breakfast to the sweet treats that define the Easter season.

Start your journey with a selection of artisan breads and viennoiseries, assorted cheese boards featuring local favorites like Nisa, “3 Igrejas” and goat cheese, alongside an array of Portuguese cured meats. These are followed by mushroom and leek quiche, garden vegetable pie, and the iconic smoked sausage “folar” from Lamego. Fresh, vibrant salads made with ingredients like lettuce, cucumber, carrot, tomato, orange, and apple add a refreshing touch to the spread.

Paying tribute to the roots of Portuguese cuisine, the meal continues with a roasted pumpkin cream soup, rich in aroma. When conversation begins to flow around the table, the main courses are served: "Polvo à Lagareiro" (octopus with olive oil and garlic) crafted with a special twist from L'Égoïste Bar & Restaurant, served with roasted potatoes and sausage rice—simply irresistible. And, of course, Easter wouldn't be complete without slow-cooked leg of lamb plated with seasonal vegetables.

To welcome you in, brunch starts with French croissants, raisin rolls, and mini custard tarts. The pastry station is sure to satisfy sweet cravings with apple chaussons, glazed and chocolate donuts, among others. The savory table offers a variety of cheeses, veggie dips with hummus, and classic Portuguese savory pastries.

Rounding out the Easter buffet are filled “sêmeas” (soft Portuguese rolls), traditional meat pies from Lamego, cod fritters, and mackerel bruschetta. Scrambled eggs, sautéed mushrooms, crispy bacon, fresh sausages, and baked beans in tomato sauce are served hot and ready to enjoy.

For a lighter touch, the salad bar brings color and freshness, with highlights like bulgur with vegetables and slivered almonds. Seafood lovers will appreciate the Portuguese-style octopus salad and the shrimp salad with almonds and orange.

As guests arrive at the hot food station, tradition takes center stage. Following the creamy pumpkin soup topped with toasted almonds, the next courses include "Bacalhau Espiritual" (a creamy baked cod dish with a crunchy almond crust) and smoked sausage with poached egg and greens.

The live cooking station—different every week—will offer a special Easter edition: made-to-order crepes with almond filling, as well as customizable waffles to please every taste.

No Easter brunch is complete without a decadent dessert table. This one stands out with moist sponge cake (“Pão-de-Ló”), almond tart, “Toucinho do Céu” with egg threads, and “Natas do Céu” topped with praline. Chocolate lovers will enjoy the chocolate Genovese cake, the rich chocolate and almond “brigadeiro” cake, and a beautiful spread of fresh seasonal fruits.

This special Easter brunch takes place on Sunday, April 20, from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM, costing €35.00 per person. Children up to age 3 dine free, and kids between 4 and 12 years old enjoy 50% off.
