This April marks the second anniversary of the Renaissance Porto Lapa Hotel - the hotel that redefined hospitality in the city of Porto.

Since its opening in 2023, this 5-Star hotel under the Marriott Brand has become a reference of sophisticated design and sustainable development. Its commitment to environmental responsibility is shown by its LEED Platinum certification, the first of its kind for a hotel in Portugal - and the 8th in the world.

Beyond its architectural and environmental achievements, the Renaissance Porto Lapa Hotel has established itself as a prime location for business events and festive celebrations. The inauguration of the L'Égoïste Bar & Restaurant was also an important milestone last year. Under the creative vision of Michelin Star Chef Miguel Rocha Vieira, and Chefs Duarte Batista and Ricardo Tiago, L'Égoïste serves a modern take on traditional Portuguese cuisine, focusing on shared gastronomic experiences. The restaurant's innovation has attracted the admiration of experts, and it has been distinguished as the Best Restaurant in Porto at the New in Porto (NiP) Awards 2024.
