Casa das Lérias Celebrates 4 Years of Tradition and Innovation

Today, Casa das Lérias marks its 4th anniversary, celebrating four years of history, tradition, and hospitality in the heart of Amarante.

Once home to a traditional pastry shop that carried the sweet legacy of this valley city, the building has been beautifully reimagined into a 3-star boutique retreat. Designed with soft light, natural wood, and timeless stone, Casa das Lérias is today a refined escape where heritage meets comfort.

With 23 rooms, a Terrace Café, an inviting outdoor pool, and a welcoming Café & Bar, the property offers guests a serene getaway while also serving as a meeting point for locals, who can enjoy the traditional pastry that inspired its name – the “Lérias.”

In the past year, Casa das Lérias gained further recognition when Pastry Chef Tiago Duarte, the creative mind behind its signature sweets, was nominated for Best Chef of the Year at the New in Porto Awards. His dedication and innovation carry forward the legacy of this iconic conventual recipe, transforming it into a contemporary culinary experience for both residents and travelers.

Casa das Lérias’ excellence is also reflected in its 9.1 score in Booking.com, alongside our guests’ feedback, who consistently highlight the warm hospitality and high-quality services.

As Casa das Lérias turns four, we would like to thank all investors, partners, and dedicated teams who have helped bring to life a hospitality project that honors the past while shaping the future of hospitality in Amarante.
